Thomas Teye Partey end his 2016/17 la liga goal scoring drought
Ghanaian international Thomas Teye Partey had his name on the score sheet, as his side Atletico Madrid travelled to the Estadio Gran Canaria.
The 23 year old faced Kelvin Prince Boateng's side UD Las Palmas in the La Liga this saturday afternoon . Having been struggling in their previous matches, Atletico Madrid were the victors, trailing Las Palmas by five goals to zero.
Thomas Teye Partey who substituted Jose Maria Gimenez de Vargas the Uruguayan in the 67th minutes had his name on the score sheet in the 72nd minutes scoring their fourth goal to end his goal scoring drought. His first goal in thirteen appearances. Kelvin Prince Boateng, the Ghanaian international was sent off in the 65th minutes.
Thomas in his 13th La liga appearance has one goal with two assists, has started four times and have also been a substitue nine times. He has four yellow cards to his name, spending four hundred and thirty three minutes on the field.
Thomas Teye Partey and his team Atletico Madrid willl travel to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu where they will face Real Madrid in the first leg of the eufa champions leauge semi final on 2nd May.
