Otumfuo's 20th Anniversary, Asante Kotoko To host Asec Mimosas in Kumasi

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has officially announced their opponent for the commemoration match in honor to the chief of the Ashanti Kingdoms' 20th Anniversary on the throne.

His majesty, Nana Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, ascended unto the throne on 26th April 1999 and as part of the anniversary, the traditional club, would host Asec Mimosas from Ivory Coast on 26th of May, 2019 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.


"We will host Asec Mimosas of Côte d'Ivoire in Kumasi in the Asantehene 20th anniversary commemoration match on Sunday, May 26, 2019." The club's official Facebook page stated.
