Breaking news..Disaster at Ndoum Stadium

The roofing of the newly-built Papa Kwesi Ndoum Stadium has been ripped off following a heavy rainfall in the Central Region.

 

The stadium that serves as a home ground to Elmina Sharks football club, saw it roofins taken off by heavy rainfall few hours after match day eleven.Central region was not the only region that experienced the rainfall but Greater Accra and part of Western Region.Is a sad news but good news as well since no casualty was recorded.The stadium hosted West African Football Academy "WAFA" in the just ended match day eleven. Elmina Sharks were defeated by the West African Football Academy by two goals to one at their home ground. This helped the sogakope based club to extend their lead to 23 points on the league table.

 

Goals scored by Daniel Lomotey in the 31th and 39th minutes made the visitors the victors. Samuel Arthur had the consolation goal for the shark in 90+5 minutes but was not enough. Elmina Sharks are on the 9th position with 13 points.
